Hey everyone!
I just want some advice for which class to take! I’m currently a sophomore in college, working as an RA this year and hoping to pick up a side job, and taking 18 credits. One of the classes I’m taking is intermediate German 1 (recommended for students who’ve studied 3-4 years) for my oral and communications language credit. Now, I’ve studied four years of German in high school, usually getting an A- to B- for my final grade (as far as I can remember). I remember not doing so well on the finals though, my grade relied mostly on my homework and quizzes. Finals in college are worth a lot more of your final grade.
I haven’t studied or really used the language for about over a year now and I’m starting to get nervous about taking intermediate German with such a busy work load. I know I could just drop the class if it’s too hard, but my financial aid package requires I take AT LEAST 15 credits and dropping the German class would bring me down to 14.
I’ve been consider switching to Beginning German 1 because it would be a lot easier (considering I have a bit under my belt). It would also be nice having an easier class since I’m going to be working a lot and have others classes I have hardly any backround in.
Thoughts, advice?? I’m really concerned about Intermediate German because I know I’m going to be way busier than last year and I’m leaning towards switching to German 1.
I appreciate ya’ll!(![Slightly smiling face  🙂](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
