Holy Week sees us keeping close to Jesus, even if most of Lent might have been a little hit and miss for some of us .
How do you strive to keep that closeness and connectedness apart from mass? What have you found that really helps?
I would love to go to Adoration and daily mass ,but it’s not really possible where I live.

Have a prayer section somewhere in your home. Try to pick a time you can be there in silence…be faithful to being there daily even if it is only five or ten minutes. Know God is always close to you but he delights in your wanting to be closer to him.
Tools: Rosary, bible, if you can’t be away from noise…white noise…have a fan, ear plugs and if you need more…ear guards like they use at airports … 😇 make your prayer area look sacred…also close your eyes at times and believe God is present…he waits for you…The Father is one with the Son and the son is one with the Father, the Holy Spirit seeks to speak to you in the gift of the blessed Trinity…In the gift of Gods love. The Father delights in his child…also a realistic crucifix is necessary in this special area. Just some ideas to share, 😐

An hour before I can “like”, but thank you! Some wonderful suggestions 🙂

If you can’t go to Mass every day you can have a holy hour, or holy half hour, at home, and do a Spiritual Communion. Dial up a live stream of Eucharist and adore Him online. You don’t get the indulgence for online, but Our Lord still appreciates the prayer.

I have taken to doing a Rosary every evening. I always feel better after it.

For me, praying Night Prayer from the Divine Office every night keeps me close.
