I’m still in transition to a new area, but would like to know what you thought about a practice by the community. One very important part of Christian life is helping those in need. Wouldn’t it be a good idea to offer a moment at the end of Mass for people with needs to announce something they are in need of for the community to hear and provide for? I think there are huge benefits to this practice. It would directly help the person in need, and it would draw each other closer in relationships, with a charity based fellowship. I know that it’s not a new concept, but the actual practice of applying it to the immediate congregation who just participated in Mass is what i’m getting at.
