I really dislike the Mass of Creation that our church uses during Lent and Advent. I guess you could call me a traditionalist. :highprayer: I like the “Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us” becasuse to me the other seems like it makes the Mass light and fluffy. For myself, it does not concentrate on the meaning of why we are ther. However with that said, Jesus is the Bread of Life. We know that. I don’t know maybe it’s just me. However, be prepared for change when we switch to the New Roman Missal this fall. We will all be experiencing the changes with the children as they happen:eek:

But, the change is not bad. In fact, it corrects what we currently use and brings it into conformity with the Latin original. While Jesus is indeed the Bread of Life, these are not the words of the Agnus Dei. Composers do no thave the right to change what is already in the Sacred Text, the Church’s official prayer.
