Does anyone know how successful these ads were? One of the news clips in the link says that brothers were down to 38 at one point. They have a large healthcare system. Somewhere I read the ads were so successful that they had to end them early. How is the order doing now? Looked like a neat order and if your call is to counseling or some other health related charism, then what a great opportunity.
I know there is an attrition rate. I looked at one orders web site (Charismatic Priests based in Canada). The order looked like to was doing quite well but I noticed in one newsletter there were a number (small) of seminarians who left and one Priest. I suppose over time they feel they are not called to that charism or religious life.
