we look at the worldwide flood even through writings and teaching of past civilizations. The biggest help in knowing that most of these religions believed in a flood story was from the Chinese. They had a flood story, different people of course. Its a good breakthrough because at the time, China was very different from the other Indoeuropean nations (due to the Himalayan mountains)Where is the evidence for a worldwide flood event?
but to continue, thanks for the feedback first of all guys this has been SUPER helpful. But another question that rose to my mind reading your comments is what if God was not a person/idea/higher being, could someone argue that God could be the connection between all living things? I do not mean this by, “God is in all living things and in our hearts”
I’m a history minor and i have just been reading ancient religions and i ask this because as our catholic/christian beliefs spread in the middle east, the people in places like early americas for example were much closer to earth and believed in a higher one being, but not as a person but as feeling/spiritual connection with all creations
and before commenting, i know this idea looks like i just watched the movie Avatar (lol
