This year, All Saints Day falls on a Saturday. Sometimes the US Bishops will move the feast day to the closest Sunday. Does anyone know if this is the case this year? We’re trying to schedule a conference: Nov 1 is one of the available dates but we don’t want to schedule it on that day if it is a Holy Day of Obligation.

It may be different in your locale, but the general calendar for the USA keeps All Saints on Saturday, but removes the obligation to assist at Mass. (BTW, All Souls will then supercede the 31st Sunday of Ordinary Time)
