Even – or, rather, especially – on an off day, my W is just as D.
That is VS of you (Very Sweet)! 😉 LOL

One thing I’ve noticed on threads where people are griping about something one of their D ones has done, is that it seems like the D is meant sarcastically. If they were spelling out the words, or speaking them, you could hear the sarcasm: “My dear husband decided to bring home a full-grown Rottweiler as a surprise for the kids . . .” :bigyikes: or, “My DD is dating a guy who is sooooo wrong for her . . .”

So, to indicate such sarcasm if one is using the abbreviations, I propose italicizing, thusly: “My DH brought home a Rottweiler etc. . .” 😃

My appeal to all users of those acronymns. Knock it off please.
They have been around since before the internet, and are ingrained in many of us who have been using them for 30+ years. I don’t think the acronyms are going away any time soon. Not sure why we should “knock it off” just because y’all choose not to use them.
