Last Wednesday Feb at the Chapel on Allegheny College in Pennsylvania a workshop entitled “I Love Female Orgasm” was help with instructions about this sexual act. This Chapel is used for religious services including the Catholic Mass. Can the Mass continue to be performed in that Chapel?

Also are there different levels of “desecration” that can occur? Have we as a Church lost the concept of the sacredness that surrounds the celebration of the Catholic Mass?

In the Old Testament, the sacredness of the Temple is significant. Do we as Catholics need to regain this concept?

Yes it can only after it is reconsecrated. Several years ago a news story about an Italian adult movie production team filmed an adult movie, in a church. I am not sure how someone found out it was filmed there, but after it was brought to the attention of the Bishop, I believe the church was reconsecrated/blessed and was used normally, afterwards.

I would suggest letting the Bishop know, if He does not already know what happened.
 
How do people get away with such things? Can they not see the effects of what they do?
 
Is the chapel an inter-faith chapel or strictly a Catholic Newman Center?
 
It is an inter-faith chapel. Not just a Catholic Chapel

Unlikely. An inter-faith chapel is used where numerous faiths wish to celebrate their ceremonies, but there is not enough room at the institution for them all. They’re common at such institutions as military academies, secular private universities (though usually Catholics will have their own structure just off campus, where the altar is definitely blessed), and international airports.

Does that mean that it is very unlikely that they have mass in there?

Even if they weren’t occurring in the chapel (dear Lord, forbid), you are referring to a very lewd topic. Usually, these types of organizations also believe they should contraception and such, meaning that this “discussion” would be more of a “how I can please more women so I can get more” kind of discussion. I seriously doubt that this topic could somehow reflect the glory of God, therefore making it a topic that should not exist anywhere inside a temple of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

Well, there is nothing wrong with pleasing one’s wife! But I understand your objection if contraception was referenced.
I seriously doubt that this topic could somehow reflect the glory of God, therefore making it a topic that should not exist anywhere inside a temple of the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.

I don’t think there is anything inherently wrong with female orgasms.

However, the contraception and such - yes, if they talked about that, you have a good point.

Yeah, I mean the chances that the discussion would just be focused strictly on a man and his wife are very low. And even then, the topic could easily stray.

They have one at UMASS Boston, I used to go to mass every Tuesday. They didn’t have anything non-religious in there as far as I know. Why would they use the chapel? I’m sure there’s pleny of other places.
