Notice that there is a concern for harming other muslims, but none for anyone else.

The things I find despicable in islam are:
I would say that every indication in the Bible says that Islam is the wrong way to turn.
Galatians 1:8-9 goes into if someone preaches a different message it is wrong, and Islam is the complete opposite message of the Bible.
I have gone into that prayer they do 5 times a day 365 days a year and it is regimented and not as pretty as all that if one knows some of the meanings behind the words. I will post on a different post. The Our Father, to me, is one of the most beautiful prayers and Allah is never described as a father in islam.
I hope you are not a muslim.
The things I find despicable in islam are:
- they sanctify lying, it is called taqiyya and kithman (sometimes spelled ketman)
- they sanctify warring against the non-muslim. It is called jihad. 3% of the time it is called an inner struggle when it is mentioned in the Quran but most of the time it is about violence against the unbelievers
- treating women unbelievably harsh by beating them, stoning them, if they are raped they can be killed if there are not 4 believer witnesses to her rape. Unbeliever’s testimony does not count and if she has only women she better have 8 believer women witnesses then.
- part of their charity is to fund the violent ones.
- if you go against sharia you are considered a hypocrite and have the same things done against you as they do to non-muslims.
- you could be killed for changing your mind and leaving islam.
- for those who actually believe that anything in islam is the truth they are never assured that they are saved no matter how many good deeds they do.
- good deeds can be holy deception, tricking people to reverting to islam (da’wa), etc.

In order to really understand what every Muslim tells themselves when they repeat these phrases over and over again, throughout their entire life (over an estimated 90,000 times in 50 years) one should understand what is really being said. I have changed the words to reveal the true meaning of their prayer.
[1.5] Keep us on the right path (the “right path”, also called the “straight path”, is the path of sharia. They are praying to follow sharia).[1.6] The path of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed favors (only the Muslims receive favors from Allah).
Not (the path) of those upon whom Thy wrath is brought down (not the path of the Jews whom you have damned), nor of those who go astray (those Christians who have been convinced by Jews to not follow sharia).
To pull it all together, what every Muslim prays at the beginning of every prayer sessions is:
Keep us on the right path of sharia, the laws Allah commanded for Muslims, and don’t let us be like the Jews whom you have damned, or the Christians who have been corrupted by the Jews.
Read this within the context that Muslims are taught that Jews and Christians are born as Muslims and misguided by their parents. When a Jew or a Christian changes their religion to that of Islam, they are not called “converts”. Muslims call them “reverts”. They have reverted back to their original faith.
Next I will go into the Shahada.

The Shahada makes belief in Muhammad a part of the requirement for salvation. They cannot just say “There is no God but Allah”, they are required to say “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is his final prophet”.
This begs the question of Islam being monotheistic, or not. And this monotheism in Islam doesn’t stop with Muhammad being placed next to Allah in order to be saved. (I say ‘no’ it isn’t monotheistic.)
There is the black rock. Look to the behavior, not to the words. Some more literally will look at the black rock as the ‘right arm of allah’. Some think it will speak for them on Judgement Day. And I get that mostly from exMuslims who are coughing up the truth. The ceremonies they do around that black rock is worship. It was taken from the pagan religion of Muhammad.
Personally I don’t care what Muslims do or don’t do. I don’t care if they worship a rock or not. The problem I have with Islam is that they will kill people for being polytheists and they themselves behave as polytheists. They can deny it until their veins pop, look to the behavior.
Making a Hajj is a requirement, one of the 6 Pillars of Islam. The only ones excused are those too sick or too poor. There is no requirement in Christianity to visit the place where Jesus lived and/or died.

I almost forgot something else that I find despicable in Islam. It is how they redefine words that make us think Islam is ok when it is not.
One BIG example is the taking of a baby, a child as young as 1 yr old and marrying them to old men. They are ok with that. Of course, if this embarrasses Muslims they will deny it or tell us how immoral our society is but there is no real care that babies and children are sexually abused. In fact, clerics do it all the time. There are many clerics who say it is ok. Now I am sure we will hear about Catholic priests.
And what I tell them is that the difference between our laws and theirs is that we are disgusted by such behavior and our laws take care of them, the priest is not following Jesus’ teachings. That is not true under Sharia, or Islam. They have a prophet who was a pediphile. And not one of them really cares about that or any of the other despicable things that prophet did or said.
I don’t know how one can be a Muslim and know what the history of Islam is. It is bloody, uncaring, immoral, and not the way to be in this life.
From my studies of Islam, I have been drawn even closer to my Christianity. Whether I look at it in only a political point of view or religious - it falls flat. I can’t find anything redeeming about it. And I didn’t start studying it with that in mind. I could have cared less about Islam and I had that ‘live and let live’ attitude. Not now. I warn people about it now.

It is like saying that a Christian is a person who wishes salvation for all humanity.

Ofcourse every christian wishes that . But when saying it in a certain context it doesnt mean it implies a definition.
I hope you understand my point.
This hadeeth is not a definition of who is muslim in terms of faith . Nor muslims understand it to be so .
