Am i a Thief?

I have been making positive hip hop music for two years. I have been making really Good hiphop beats on a program called Fruti Loops.

Latley i have been going through a problem. Im paranoid about everything, including Sin and my relationship with God. Because of this paranoia i have been having problems definning if i have been tempted, or i have sinned. I rebuke all foughts all the time but some of them hover in my mind for a while before im actually aware of the gravity of what im thinking about.

As a result, my mind is continuelly digging up past sins and things i had forgoten about. I have confessed all of them, but now there is one more problem, that i have confessed but not found resolve.

A few years ago my freind put a program called fruti loops on my computor. I also got an upgrade of the program for 5 pound, from a market stool that sold pirated copys.( They make copys from the original program, and sell it) I nolonger buy from this pirate stools, or download copyright material from those p2p programs.

My music program has enabled me and is helping me to make wounderfull music and get a positive message out to the youth, not to mention make me feel positive.

But because of this paranoia problem, i rememberd that i Got the program from my freind and also bought an illegal upgrade from a market stool.

I have deleated all the games and pirate movies i down loaded from the p2p program i used to have. But im reluctant to delete my music program and all my music, because im to poor to afford a new one, and it helps me to be positive and give out positivity to people.

Although i dont want to delete the program, i dont want to go to offend God and end up in hell. But i dont want to delete it if its not neccerary. please help me.

Is the devil trying to destroy my message? or is God trying to get me clean?
 
Is it still possible for you to send the legal owners of this program the amount it would cost to buy a new copy?
 
I’m not sure? Maybe that would be a possibillty! 🙂 But it would take a whole lot of saving up. Im in the process of getting Job seekers allowance, but i could put some money a side every week. Would this please God?
 
What if its not possible to get the money put to them?

Does God want me to delete the program?

The preist said if it makes me feel positive, then dont, but if its a negetive thing then delete it. im not sure if he fully understood what i was talking about.

In all justice, you should not continue using the program without a valid and legal liscence (i.e. one you bought from the company). Without the liscence the program should be deleted from your computer. There are many free programs that will probably work just as well. From what I have seen, FruityLoops is a MIDI Sequencer. What OS (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux) will decide which programs you may use. I use Rosegarden, which runs on Linux.

What do you mean by this sentence? and where can i find theses free programs?
 
The OS is the Operating System. Common ones are WIndows XP, Mac OS X, and Linux. Programs are made specific for each OS, so one that is made for Windows will not work on Macintosh. Microsoft Windows is the most common OS used, and comes standard with most computers.

I understand, what your saying. But ive made tons of music for years and years, what do i do with that? do i delete that to?
 
i download music and other stuff from p2p programs all the time,is it a sin?
I dont see it as stealing,i see it as sharing. I dont think i know of anyone who doesnt do it anyway.

It is a sin to use this program, since you have not paid for it. However, since you have many bits of work that you do not want to delete, I suggest you do not use the program until you can afford a license for it. As far as I can see, there is an “express edition” for $49. Thats about thirty pounds. Not much really, and i’m a student too 👍
