Am I being selfish?

You should probably inform the priest of your concerns and give him a chance to address them. It is better for you and the people in your parish if these issues can be corrected and you can stay with your local parish.

If he refuses, or is unable to effect change, then go ahead and leave.

Yes, this just may help. I very recently wrote a note to my priest about certain questions I had, and at the end I asked if they ever use the Sanctus bells anymore, because I miss hearing them. When I met with the priest later on, he told me they were going to bring the bells back. I was very happy about that.

The important thing is to do it in a polite, charitable way. You know, the old “catch more flies with honey” sort of thing!
