Come on Bill, don’t come the raw prawn with us.

You intentionally looked at nudity for pleasure of the flesh. Not because you are an artist . Artists use life models, and more artistic sketches etc.

If pornography is popping up on your computer, it’s because you went looking for something NQR.

Say NO to SIN and yes to JESUS.

The famous Art of Michael Angelo has nought to do with your computer usage.

Its very strange how a computer never used to search porn will never have porn pop up…

And don’t you dare say someone else must have been at fault!

Confess, ask forgiveness.

Google Divine Mercy Sunday. No porn there, only the mercy of God in His tribunal of Mercy.

I tend to agree with you, but sometimes porn ads can come up without knowledge

Pornography is almost always sinful.
when is it not sinful?

unless you mean only when it’s just incidental, but i mean looking at that stuff is not incidental. if it pops up and you close it right away without looking, ok. i wouldn’t consider when that’s an issue. But otherwise, no.

I think the better way to put it is that pornography is sinful unless it is simply and completely accidental. otherwise I don’t see when it is not sinful.

it’s going to be difficult to get past this. but you can’t be making many excuses. Unless something requires you too look at nudity, (I don’t think much will make you only look at nudity as an option for anything, but maybe i am wrong) I would really just avoid it.

Every time you go on the internet you are going to be tempted. but i think trying to get away with looking at nudity as innocently just “looking”, I just wouldn’t. That’s cutting it really close to the border. You struggle with sexuality and i don’t think looking at that sort of stuff, no matter the intent, will help you stray away from it. It may also just be the devil trying to make you believe it is not bad because you are only looking on it.

I would just stay away from it. Period. at least for as many years as you can. Because it’s getting to near occasion of sin that may tempt you to do more than just look.

A lot may pop up, (that’s due to cookies that track what you’ve been on, so more suggestions will tell you to look because it is based on your history. read a book and that stuff. kinda creepy) but you just have to click out and look away. Don’t peak. If you happen to glance it as it pops up, ok- just that glance (not one you deliberately do) and then you got to peel your eyes away and find the ‘x’ to close it.

start looking up other things besides such stuff. When you are tempted to look at nudity, google something else. Find an article to read, put on some music, make it as difficult as you can to be tempted. Perhaps put a picture of Jesus of the Holy Family on your computer screen or screensaver background. Because you will be tempted.

I have a different scenerio, but have had the same basic struggle, essentially. Not the porn though. I don’t deal with the exact same issue, but similar because i am still struggling due to something that occurs… monthly. Something I was going to force myself to ask on here because it’s causing me an issue, but hate talking about this sort of thing when its about myself. Need to plan a trip to confession soon, but I don’t really want to get into the very specifics of it, but just the a little more than general of it.

ok thant was a rather long response, but oh well. Reading about this and knowing others struggle and how others get over it helps a lot. I’ll pray for you and others in this particular struggle

be strong. look away. (easier said than done) It is possible to get past this.

All I know to do is continue devotions and taking the host and praying for the grace to get around it. I guess we’re all confused about something.
