My wife and I went out and saw this film today. It was absolutely wonderful. This movie isn’t about Catholicism, but it is most certainly about being a Christian, and the tenacity it takes to tackle a grave moral evil: slavery. I was quite inspired. I wish Hollywood would make more movies like this…then perhaps I’d go to the movies more often!

I’ve heard great things about this film from some of my favorite radio talkers so I am looking forward to seeing it. Thanks for the review!
 
I can’t wait to see it, especially since one of my favorite musicians, Martina McBride, sings “How Great Thou Art” on the soundtrack.

Sounds good, I was wondering, too. Don’t you think it’s important to support the projects like this that are decent films & even have an important message? Looking forward to seeing it…

YEP.
 
We can only hope and pray that Hollywood gets the message. Movies like this, the Chronicles of Narnia, even the Lord of the Rings…people want movies that they can take their kids to, and that have an inspirational, Christian message. So…everyone go out and see Amazing Grace! 🙂
 
If it stops snowing, that’s where we planned to go this evening.
 
It can’t be snowing. The earth’s gotten much too hot for snow.
