If you have not seen Aaron Russo’s film “America:Freedom to Fascism” you should and can do so for free here:

He directed “Trading Places” and The Rose" among other major Hollywood features. I already knew a good bit of the material that he exposes in the film and more from studying U.S.Code Title 26 , history, and Constitutional Law but there are still a lot of good points raised. One of them is in relation to the polarization of the country we see right now. Polarization is nothing new but if the government was trying to keep a huge scam covered up what better way would there be than to keep the people so obsessed with arguing with each other that we are too busy to look for a common enemy? Hmmm…

This movie was discussed at length on these forums. I for one do not trust the government one bit, others refuse to think the government is capable of scamming the american people.

I put my trust in the Church.

Oh I definitely believe the U.S. Government has acted wickedly, and against it’s own citizens, at times.

There was something called, I believe, the Tuskeegee experiments, where dangerous drugs or diseases were given deliberately to black people. Then there was the case of the CIA giving LSD to people who did not know that they were receiving the drug (and they were government employees, I believe CiA employees at that).

I believe a lot goes on behind the scenes that we don’t know about.

For a recent example see the documentray - Wacko-The rules of Engagment.

You’ll see how the governent murdered innocents for their religious beliefs. You’ll also see the disgusting public figures like Janet Reno and Chuck Schumer that ignored what was presented to their face and chose politics over justice.

I always thought that Waco was an interesting contrast with the LA riots. On the one hand you have widepsread rioting, looting, and violence against innocent people being committed by members of a “minority group” and the government’s response is to do NOTHING. On the other hand you have a small group of religious people (fanatic or not) who are bothering no one and the government’s response is to send in tanks and helicopters, initiate a seige and psychological warfare, and finally initiate an attack that ends in the deaths of nearly everyone in the compound including many children. Their reaction to the disaster? “Oops, our bad, oh well, no harm done”. This was the same reaction they had after murdering other innocent people on Ruby Ridge. I really wish more people would wake up to just how far beyond it’s Constitutional powers our government has gone.

While the government might have stepped a little bit over the edge at Waco and Ruby Ridge, the fact is those two situations didn’t involve totally innocent people either. Wasn’t Koresh holding hostages? Wasn’t his group stockpiling weapons? If so, the government couldn’t just send regular police officers or sheriff’s deputies there.

No, they were not holding hostages and “stockpiling weapons” as it is defined by the press is not illegal unless those weapons are obtained illegally. That may have been part of the government’s claim but did you ever hear of any charges? Did you hear anything about large numbers of weapons being recovered from the remains of the compound? The worst thing about it is that it was public knowedge throughout the area that Koresh went into town at the same time every day. He could have been arrested by two officers in one car. The government wanted to make an example of them and it blew up in their face, literally. I think that murdering innocent American citizens is much more than “a little over the edge”.

This is a very good film, and unforutunately, there are news stories all over the place backing up the slow move towards the final premise of the film - that we are all going to be “chipped” — It really is the antichrist.
