What can we call you if we can’t call you Americans? ( Canadians are North American too… I don’t know why you guys get to take claim on the American )

It’s because we normally refer to people by National origin, not continental origin. We are the only country with the name America.

Therefore you, of people in an American continent, get Americans, Canadians, Mexicans, Bolivians, Hondurans, Columbians, Venezuelans, Brazilians, Argentines, Chileans, etc.

Thank you grandfather this was a very interesting read. It sounds like you guys are a bit like the scottish and the english, we call this the united kingdon great britain and i have a british passport but hey im scottish not british that was forced upon us a long long time ago. English and scottish are at peice now but like the canadians and the americans we sometimes dont like eachother. As for the queen. Well she is the queen of england.
