last one i can think of was “Hell on Wheels” which was pretty good imo. and then there was ‘Deadwood’ back in the early 2000s, that was OK but raunchy.
I never saw either of those. At least they show the old westerns on METV.

Can’t we just let shows end? I don’t watch a lot of current television but I feel like many of these programs are starting to go on forever even if the quality is declining. Many of the older sitcoms I watch had a lifespan of 8-10 seasons at the max, new ones seem to be going on ad nauseum.
I feel you. I currently watch no tv shows but the last one I seriously followed was Supernatural and I feel they just kept dragging it on and on when it could have ended years ago!! The last show I watched was Strange Things and I am actually upset it will have a second season. It could have easily ended and be great. Ah well

Well, I suppose my husband will think he has to watch it, like he had to watch the other seasons.

Frankly, I don’t mind having a singing contest as a television show. What I do mind is contestants crying, “This means everything to me!”

Goodness, shouldn’t God mean everything to us?

hell on wheels was GREAT, Anson Mount and that guy named ‘Common’ were the main stars. It was about the first railroad in the US, all the struggles and corruption that went into its construction and planning. It ran for 4 seasons. Its one of my fave series. ‘Common’ is a very good actor in just about everything Ive seen him in.

I remember it had something to do with the railroad. Was there a lot of violence and sexual situations though. I don’t remember which network it aired on, but sometimes
HBO and Showtime have too much violence and sex.

It ran on AMC, so it was not as bad as HBO or other movie channels, there was some violence, cant recall any sexual situations, but no nudity shown or ‘F’ words. It is the same network as the Walking dead runs on.

Oh that’s right. It was AMC.
