American pie-like movies

Was watching an “American Pie” type movie last night. I knew there would probably be some nudity in it, but I watched it anyway…when a girl took off her clothes, I changed the channel, but ended up flipping back to it later…Please tell me that this is not a mortal sin! It was like a car wreck…I felt I had to watch!

you have too much time on your hands. get away from TV as you have seen it is not entertainment it is brain destruction. Pray the rosary or LOTH. spend the time in physical exercise, good for mind, sould and body. study the bible. read a spiritual book, or just good literature. play a board game with your family. clean house. take a class. go to the library. cut grass for an elderly neighbor. volunteer in a soup kitchen or other ministry. teach CCD. wash the car. anything but fill your mind with junk food.

The near occasion of sexual sin aside, it’s a stupid movie! There are lots of others that can both entertain and engage one’s mind.

I would get myself to confession if I were you. It can’t hurt. Why are you watching that garbage in the first place? There are plenty of wholesome movies–or even books!–out there.

Just to let you know, they gave “American Pie” an “O” for morally offensive. Very few movies get the “O” so that should be an indicator of how bad American Pie and company are.
