I always observe people. They are logical, tough, they do not care for God or if there is an afterlife. They can and try to manage everyday life as best as they can. They are grounded in reality. Street-smart, intelligent, very independent and self-reliant. Perhaps, they have faults like any other human being, but it is not necessary tragic. Is it hard to believe there is an all encompassing God? Why did God make us of need Him less?

Those people are probably frauds and posers.

The probably secretly cry and/or drink when they are alone…

Inside, they are tormented by feelings of inadequacy, weakness, or failure, and so are compelled to have a ‘tough’ extertior.

Don’t admire such people. Pity them.

I took the liberty of underlining the parts of your post that are very much in line with living a Godly life.
  • To be logical is utilizing God’s gift of reason.
  • To be tough is found in the quality of fortitude, which all the saints needed when they were faced with enormous tests.
  • We ALL manage life as best as we can…trying to align our lives with the will of God 🙂
  • If you are not “grounded in reality”, then you are grounded in myth and superstition (these things veil us from God)
  • Intelligent? Beautiful 🙂 (God loves intelligent people as long as it does not remove them from the works He wants from us)
  • Independent? We should be independent of all else save God
  • Self-reliant? Who else are we to rely on but the inner God we have within us all?
🙂

God is ultimately Good. All Good comes from God.

They are what are called the lost sheep. People who don’t care for God or the afterlife are usually very sad and lost people. They usually seem to have all the answers and it all together until tragedy happens. Then they fall apart.

It seems that when you truly get to know them you can see that they are always searching in this world. But don’t know what for.

It would be so hard for me to believe that his world was it, What would we have to look forward to. God is our gift who we get to see face to face on our last day, and its what we live for in this world, to live with him in the next. It would be very sad to go through this world and not living for this.

👍

Absolutely dear friend, know that every single thing that a human being does which is GOOD, is from God and in fact is not your own doing but from Gods grace to have Him work you in that way.

Reflect on this and know that He is everywhere.

Assist and accompany, walk arm in arm with all, to empower the workings of God through them more and more purely…this is our duty.

🙂
