how would you answer this question or statement?
No one responded to my other thread so I think a better was due. How can you prove that god exist under the cercumstance that the Bible may not all be true.
I see this as reasonable to state, but what else could be said? what would you say?

The Bible can teach a person (whether they chose to believe in God or not) to live a happy life…to be resposible, active in the community, charitable, peacefull, etc. What could possibly false in this? even if a person not believing in Christ could not ever say that any part of the Bible is false when they along with others (myself including) do not have the ability to completely understand what is infinite. Truly the Word is infinite. Even when a human works on mathmatical problems or even a computer trys to work on something that is infinite, even if that what is infinite is created by a human…it can not be completely explained.

And to speak about God or ask others for proof is ignorant. heres why…The understanding and belief is more than less a self thought. no one, could truly have another create the personal belief in Him, only incourage and set additional information about God to allow any person come to a conclusion on their own.

You have answered your own question in several places.

Nothing false in this, but neither is it complete.
(E)ven if a person not believing in Christ could not ever say that any part of the Bible is false when **they along with others (myself including) do not have the ability to completely **understand what is infinite. Truly the Word is infinite. Even when a human works on mathmatical problems or even a computer trys to work on something that is infinite, even if that what is infinite is created by a human…it can not be completely explained.
Why does God need to be explained to our satisfaction? Why do you think God needs to be completely understood to be believed in his existance? Do you completely understand the solar system? Do you believe it exists? Do you see oxygen? Do you believe it exists?
**And to speak about God or ask others for proof is ignorant. **
I would suggest that if you want people to respond to you, it would be best to refrain from terms like ignorant when refering to those who speak of God.

And so you’ve answered your own question. If you are determined to not believe in God, then nothing anyone can say will change your mind. No proof, physical, philisophical, or otherwise will have any effect.

If “existance” itself, in all it’s majesty isn’t enough “proof” to at least entertain the possiblility of god’s existance, there is nothing left to say.

wow mate, thanks a bunch for the reply…very helpfull. thanks

Well. for one thing, you exist.

You are different from every other kind of thing that exists, inasmuch, for example,as you can write emails.

No other type of being in the universe, that we know of, can
write emails.

You are capable of choosing between good and evil, and
between one good and another.

You are capable of love. You are capable of choosing to
give your life for complete strangers. People have.

How come?

How come anything exists? Physicists posit a “big bang” theory
of the origin of the universe. May be true. If so, why was there
anything to go “bang” and what made it do so?

How did a bunch of electrons or whatever they may be suddenly
turn themself into a person who can write emails (never mind
inventing the computer)?

All very odd.
