Quick background: I have a Protestant girlfriend (mixed Lutheran/Non-Denominational) who is relatively open to Catholicism and is well aware that if we are to be married someday, it will be in the Catholic Church (and all that it entails- i.e.- Kids being raised Catholic).
Anyway, we often have religious discussions (which I love)…and our most recent one was about Natural Family Planning. This was a few weeks ago, and she wasn’t too convinced that it was something she would like to do…in fact, she was pretty opposed to it. Of course I pray for her conversion daily, and I added this to the list.
So the other day, the two of us are hanging out at her place, and out of the blue, she randomly says “I’ve decided that I’d like to do Natural Family Planning. I think it’ll be the best way to raise our family.”
I was astounded…and I don’t think I stopped smiling the rest of the evening. God is great!
Just thought I’d share that with y’all. God Bless.
