After some preliminaries, this article suggests doing these things when you don’t like the priest:
.Prayfully read the readings before mass
.Arrive before mass and pray for the priest
. Ignore which priest is presiding at the mass and focus on meeting Jesus during the mass
.During the liturgy of the word, write down thoughts that come to mind. And do this during the sermon too. (Focus on something you connect with, not on the quality of his delivery.)
.Get to confession
.Focus on Jesus, not the priest.
