My wife is from the Philippines, from a city of about 200,000, and during a Catholic charismatic prayer meeting a doctor from a wealthy family there gave this account to everyone. I am deliberately leaving all names out of this account.
The doctor said that he joined the Masons in that city, where there is an elite group of Masons made up of wealthy people. During their rites he trampled on a crucifix. which he later believed was responsible for what happened next. His daughter became possessed by a demon, though he himself didn’t believe in them until then. It was obvious that she was possessed because she had superhuman strength, her voice would change into the deep voice of a man, and her appearance altered so that her eyes became red. A Catholic priest in that diocese exorcised her, and when he asked what its name was, the girl uttered a strange name.
After this the doctor and his wife converted. His wife started a Marian association of women who have great devotion to Mary and who go together to mass every day and pray for priests, and for other causes. They now have a chapel in their family compound, and while their family compound was closed before, guarded by an armed guard, he opened his place, letting Catholic groups meet in the auditorium there without charge.
My wife knows the daughter who was possessed, and the daughter joined Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity, and after she was professed, was sent to Africa to take care of the poorest of the poor.
