An Insight Revival?

There once was a religious drama show produced by the Paulists know as Insight, and it ran from 1960 to 1985. It starred many of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

I hear a rumor that they plan to revive the show with new episodes. Does anyone know if this rumor is true?

I vaguely remembered this show. It used to run on Sundays when the networks had some sort of mandate to provide X hours of “Community Programming” so they would run all kinds of odd public affairs or religious stuff.

I looked up a couple of episodes from the early 70s and watched. I have to say, the acting and production values were not that great. Also, it seemed like there wasn’t any knotty problem that couldn’t be wonderfully resolved within a half hour.

I hope if they bring it back it’s a little better done.
