“One matter stood out from the beginning: The best, most thoughtful responses came from Catholics. Incidentally, their answers were consistently better than the ones from atheists. It intrigued me that Catholics could handle anything I threw at them. Also, their responses reflected such an eminently reasonable worldview that I kept asking myself: How is it that Catholics have so much of this all figured out?”

“It was a shocking moment for me because I had to confront the fact that DNA is information. If I remained an atheist, I would have to believe that all the intricate, detailed, complex information contained in DNA comes out of nowhere and nothing.”

I would be more interested to know how this was celebrated in heaven than what dance the Prince of England will dance next week. :extrahappy:

The significance of DNA was also the turning point for the famous English philosopher and atheist Antony Flew towards the end of his life.

I’m glad to say not all the English favour the monarchy. 🙂

From her blog:

VITALS

I’m 33 years old, have been married for seven years, and have four children: a six-year-old boy, and three girls ages four, three and one. We’re expecting our fifth baby, a girl, who will arrive in June of 2011. When I’m not busy with my job as Director of Chaos Management for our household, I do some freelance writing and am working on a memoir about my conversion. I have a degree from the University of Texas in Interactive Advertising (a.k.a Internet Marketing), I’m a sixth-generation Texan and I live in Austin. I am also a blogger for the National Catholic Register.

Director of Chaos Management!!! ROFL. I certainly know that job description from when my 2 sons were small, and she has double the kids I have.

Thank you for posting this. My husband is a scientist and I am still praying for his reversion or conversion. Her story is very inspirational.
