Is it possible for an angel to assume the body of a human? Often, when people refer to kind people, they call them “angels” to show affection. But, could it actually be true?
The angel Raphael in the Old Testament Book of Tobit appeared on earth in human form, as did a number of other Old Testament angels. So it is possible for God to send an angel to earth who appears to be a human.
Humans are not angels though. A good human person may be sent somehow by God to help, but that doesn’t make the human into an angel, nor do humans become angels after death.
Angels are an interesting thing to think about, especially Guardian Angels. But, sometimes we need to leave our questions aside and accept that we don’t know all. Also, we should take care that we do not go into excess by, for example, naming angels.
Angels can appear to people, they can be on Earth. But, exactly how? God knows.
