Spirit Daily has an article on anger.
“Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go, lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.” Proverbs 22:24-25
The article warns that we are surrounded by anger everywhere today, our music, on the TV, in our society, and that many of us are filled with anger without realising it.
In researching for the Suicide section of the website I am developing (www.life.org.nz) I discovered:
The article rightly reminds us “We grant the devil an evil right when we share in his rage and in our culture we’re surrounded by this.”
and …
“Anger plays an enormous role in blocking answers to prayers because anger is connected to hatred, which is the opposite of God and fuels attack by the enemy. It is his energy!”
This article was one of the “Uh-huh” sort for me, where I immediately recognised the truth of it. Now, to root it out. :yup:

- suicide is the cause of death of one-third of young people
- depression is the main cause of suicide
- repressed anger is the main cause of depression
- fear or vulnerability is a major cause of repressed anger.
