You have to understand that in progressive or liberal democracies only progressives and liberals are allowed to impose their ethical conditions and ban whatever they dislike, which generally is anything having to do with a healthy and holy life. You can hear the same grumblings here among our own home grown liberals (secular and “spiritual”).
