2 Cor. 5:21: “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

That says you are not doomed, but have the righteousness of God.
But, I dont understand this passage, as it is directed to the Jews or Gentiles of this time.

He was not talking about me., yet I feel I was a part of his pain.

Why?

I see he was peirced on his side, and crucifyed in such a manner, that it is so hard to take in.

I feel like I would have believed in him, had I been there, to see him.

I just never saw him in my life up to recently, unless I am hallucianting, and my child is too.

It seems the more reasonable conclusion, may be that I just dont know how this is possible. Why he would touch my heart, through my child’s birth, then continually show up in the picture, in nagging my heart.

Who else would care to do this?

So, there must be a God Man Jesus.

But, why did he leave his creation, to be in such a state of confusion as to how to find him, and his will for us?

The bible tells us only so much.

A lot, if I really read more of it in christian eyes, I admit.

but, did he ever want someone like me, to have to wonder what his will for me was?

I am just wondering- what was he thinking, when he decided to create people that would be held to his laws, that his own followers dont follow?

what does he want me to do?

I will let my child decide for herself, as I won’t raise her as I was.

But, if God is love- why did he or I not meet before?

When Paul uses the words “us” he is referring to Christians of all times and places. You were part of His pain on the cross. When He suffered for the sins of the world, He had “Monica” in His thoughts.

Our Lord said, “Blessed are ye who have not seen, and yet believe.”
But, why did he leave his creation, to be in such a state of confusion as to how to find him, and his will for us?
It’s only confusing because our sin blinds our eyes, hearts, and minds. He gave His written word, but more importantly, He gave us the revelation of His Son. The writer to the Hebrews tells us “In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.”
The bible tells us only so much.
It tells us all we need to know. The apostle John writes, “But these things are written that you may believe, and by believing have life in His Name.”

Yes; He wants you so much, that in the words of the ancient Nicene creed “for us men and our salvation, He came down from heaven. by the power of the Holy Spirit. He became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again.”
I am just wondering- what was he thinking, when he decided to create people that would be held to his laws, that his own followers dont follow?
It was man’s rebellious choice in the garden that led to our cursing and inability to keep the divine commands. God must hold us to His Laws because He is perfectly holy, and altogether just. He is also love, and before time began He planned our redemption.
what does he want me to do?
Repent and believe the good news of the Gospel.

You met before you were ever born. The prophet Jeremiah tells us that God knew us before we were formed in the womb. The apostle Paul tells us that God loved us so much He YOU on His mind when He created the heavens and the earth. He tells the church in Ephesus, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will… In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation.”

He loves us so much He didn’t leave our salvation up to blind chance… but He lovingly chose us before the foundations of the earth were laid and prepared our redemption through Christ Jesus.

What does predestined mean in this case? What about my husband? What about all who never saw any witness of this Jesus in their life? What does this God have in mind for them?

We cannot answer that question (about your husband). All we can do is pray for Him and, since you have the contact with him, to witness to the truth of Christ.

God desires all men everywhere to repent and believe the Gospel. He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.

However, Anglicans also accept Protestant distinctives, such as justification by grace alone, through faith alone, on account of Christ alone. Roman Catholics deny the “alone” portions of these doctrines. In that sense, they differ greatly from Catholic theology.
From the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification by the Lutheran World Federation and the Catholic Church (1999):
“Together we confess: By grace alone, in faith in Christ’s saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping and calling us to good works.”

Hello, is there a link for continuing Anglicans?

I did a search, but its not coming up with anything that looks official.
There probably isn’t a PNCC (Polish National Catholic Church) parish in your area; but if there is that would be another possibility.

I did mispeak on that, Peter. Thanks for the correction. It was meant as one string of the doctrines of grace. I believe Catholics hold to initial justification as being by grace alone?
