You might take a look at the “sticky” new guidelines for interfaith dialogue Eric Hilbert posted. Questioning the sincerity of another’s faith goes against them.

I don’t doubt that people can be sincere in their belief that religion is subjective. But it’s still a lie from the pit of Hell.

I don’t believe I ever said that God’s truth was subjective. I don’t believe that it is. But my understanding of it is different than yours. One of us must be wrong. I think it’s you. 😛

However, I bet there’s a lot we agree on. 🙂

I affirm the divinity of Jesus and the inspiration of the Bible, and I don’t dissent at all from the major ecumenical creeds, so perhaps I don’t fit your definition of a liberal all that well. And, as I said, Schori is far too Spong-like to suit me, and I think she should be replaced.
