…Nov 4 represents the first year anniversary of the Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum Coetibus, enabling ordinariates to be established for the celebration of Anglican liturgy within Roman Catholic churches.

A general question for all readers:

What has happened in one year? Are ordinariates in the process of being established in your diocese?

This is a long-term process which is now just beginning.

In the US, Archbishop Wuerl (Washington) has just been appointed to lead the US ordinariate.

In the UK, a number of Anglican bishops (most recently John Broadhurst) have announced their intentions to accept the opportunity.
