That’s a different kettle of fish! What about movies & tv shows you like on dvd? Your public library might have them. Some libraries will deliver by mail for free if you can’t get to there.

Good point Bonnie. I have quite a few DVDs, but I have watched them over and over and tire of them. But I could have a friend drive me to the public library. That would be like TCM, they would have no obscene DVDs their either.

I have. I sent an Email to Dish, and wonder of wonders they even replied in a non committal way.

But for some reason I still have TBS and TNT. I thought all the Turner channels came together, but I guess not.

I’m no conspiracy maven by far, but I am thinking that Time Warner owns a lot of cable companies. Could this be a way of getting people off satellite and use their cable companies?

That’s not entirely accurate. TCM does not show plenty of obscene movies, particularly overnights and on weekends. TCM has shown “I Am Curious (Yellow)”, the ‘classic’ pornographic film uncut, they have shown plenty of ‘blaxploitation’ movies, like ‘Blacula’ and 'Scream, Blacula, Scream," and this being the Halloween season, it’s pretty much guaranteed that they will show some Hammer films - and not necessarily the early black and white ones, either. It’s only a matter of time before TCM turns into another AMC.

Glad I be be of assistance! Our library can’t afford to buy DVDs and depends on donations. So I’d like to suggest to CAF people that they donate good movies to their local library. I haven’t found any Catholic movies at all and most of the religious movies are old - like Charlton Heston old.
