Hello, I was wondering if you need to be baptized to be anointed and what conditions render it. I have had vertigo for a year now and chronic nausea for 5 years and was wondering if I could be anointed.

God Bless and Peace Be With You.🙂

CCC 1401 When, in the Ordinary’s judgment, a grave necessity arises, Catholic ministers may give the sacraments of Eucharist, Penance, and Anointing of the Sick to other Christians not in full communion with the Catholic Church, who ask for them of their own will, provided they give evidence of holding the Catholic faith regarding these sacraments and possess the required dispositions.
To give you a definite answer though, you’ll have to ask a priest as:
CCC 1530 Only priests (presbyters and bishops) can give the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, using oil blessed by the bishop, or if necessary by the celebrating presbyter himself.

I don’t have the reference at hand, but one must be baptized before one can receive any other sacrament.

Yes, you must be baptised before you can receive any other sacrament.

Check with a priest. IMHO, I don’t believe that is the type of illness for which the sacrament anointing of the sick is intended.
