Annoying Masses

If mass is where the Eucharist is confected how can it be annoying? People at mass may be annoying to me, the mass can’t
 
Right.Mass is mass no matter what.Its the trimmin’s that can be distracting
 
Catholic does mean universal, after all. But why leave? It’s about the act of His sacrifice, not about what language proclaims it.
 
Sitting through multiple readings of the same text at a normal mass would test many people’s patience. I’d sit through it the first time but seek out another mass in future.
 
At the bi/multi lingual Masses I’ve attended, the worship aid or Missalette has the readings in English and the other language (s). They are read aloud in one language, you are free to read your preferred tongue on the written page. They are not repeating the readings over and over.
 
I get your point that they read the same reading three times in different languages. That would bother me as well, unless I knew that it was an exception and it would not happen at every Mass. I do wonder if they ever read it in English ;-). Anyway, it sounds like this situation is a near occasion of sin for you, and for that reason if I was you I would attend a Mass somewhere else. It does not matter if you are right or if they are right. If possible, you should avoid a situation that tempts you to sin.
