Annulment appeal to Roman Rota

I received an affirmative decision on my marriage annulment. After 23 years of emotional abuse, I thought it will be over. My ex husband is appealing the decision to Roman Rota. Can someone tell me what it involves and how long it may take.
 
It is a long and expensive process. Your ex very well may change his tune once he is made aware that this time the costs will come from his pocket instead of the reduced/waived fees from a local Tribunal.
 
Thank you for your answer. He is very determined not to allow me to get the marriage annulled and is financially very well off. His desire to continue to control me spills into my divorced live and the appeal is just pure vindictiveness. I know he has the right to appeal and I do understand it. What I cannot understand that even after being told that my case is very strong due to unusual events and his behavior leading up to the marriage, he is allowed to prolong my pain. God bless you.
