If one marries in the church ONLY to gain access to the sacraments,
Is that possible grounds for annulment?

since when do you have to marry someone catholic to get access to sacraments?

this isn’t a thing. the only way someone can gain access to the sacraments is if they want to become catholic. then they can get baptized, first communion…ect but marrying someone catholic does not make you catholic unless you choose to be individually.

as to your other question (if it’s grounds for annulment), you’ll have to ask a local priest or go to a tribunal because I honestly don’t know.

Hello,

One might allege that such an attitude was indicative of the ground of simulation. There is more to that ground, though, as far as proof is concerned.

Your question is confusing. Are you talking about a couple that would have preferred a civil ceremony but chose to have their marriage in the Church in order to not be in an invalid marriage and hence not disposed to receive the Sacraments?

I believe the OP is referring to a couple in an invalid marriage who seeks con-validation only to once again access the sacraments.

As your question seems to need a lot more details, I would ask you, what other reasons are there for marrying in the Church? Perhaps that is a place to start.

I am assuming that this is a question about a new marriage, or a simple or retroactive convalidation. Yes, that is a good reason to be married validly, as long as the consent is valid and there are no undispensed impediments. If ONLY means with invalid consent, then it is grounds for annulment.
