Is there another forum out on the net which I woudl suppose would be password only, where family issues could be expressly spoke of with out swearing, but without worry for minors reading it.
I am not unfamiliar with moral theology, a place mentioned for alternative placement of forum posts. There is much wisdom in Augustine and Aquinas for example. I like Francis de Sales.
This being said I am looking for a place to be frank about issues that are more psychological for Catholics than spiritual, yet they directly impact the spirit.This in turn governs the ability to deal with others. Yet as Karl Keating has deleniated a target audience of thirteen years old, I certainly cannot direct such things here. I may have gone too far as it is in previous posts. If so I apologize. It is quite fair to have this types of forum. In my early twenties I thought I had a talent for parrish ministry with teens. I was very wrong!
So I find moral theology of interest, but it is not all of life. Anyone who goes too far down that road bumps into Calvinism.
I am not one to scandalize children, but I have no interest it writing with them in mind either. In fact I deal with eighteen year olds every day that is abot as early as I can go in age tolerance nowdays, the best and brightest, and it is an effort. I cannot worry how I impact minor children and also seriously write. I consider the education of children a seperate matter. I spent twelve years doing it and disliked it to the bottom of my soul. I didn’t necessarily dislike each kid, just the system. I did a little Catholic school where I saw the best and worst, the worst was stronger for me than the best. However, I was mostly in the business and blahness of public school which was best typified at the last public high school I taught at whereby it was set on fire ten times in twelve days, including the ignition of a student. He lived.
Well rules are rules, and I respect them. So is there a different more all "grown up " Catholic forum on the net?
