Sites like this don’t make me angry anymore as much as they just simply make me sad. I am sad that such people harbor so much hatred. I am sad that such people deliberately fill themselves with so much ignorance of Truth. I am sad that such people content themselves with being not a member of a particular church, but rather a member of the “I’m not Catholic” church. Mostly I am sad that such people deliberately spread their hatred, ignorance and lies to other people. :nope:

Um…what does the Pope have to do with the NIV Bible?

(I’m refering to a cartoon at that site)

Sites like these crack me up because the person that writes and promotes all that stuff is so incredibly clueless that it’s comic.

I’d like them to learn one virtue at least: Charity!!

Thet certainley don’t do us any favors, but when you join them it’s Welcome :tiphat: but then when they realise your Catholic :bigyikes: they bann you.
Brilliant thats all I can say as they must be afraid of something !!!
Now I don’t even bother debating with them.
 
If you go to www.carm.org you’ll see that Catholicism is listed as a “religious movement” …:confused:

If you go to their Catholic discussion board, you’ll see that it is really a Catholic bashing board. I was just looking for apologetics material… When I found it I realized for the first time that there are people who fervently attack Catholicism and with much zeal. I felt like I had walked out onto the schoolyard and got punched in the gut. These people need a (better) hobby.

Ugh.
 
I am dealing with some of these anti Catholic bigots right now. Their claims are so frustrating because the claim only takes one sentence, but the rebutal takes several minutes, if not hours to explain. Unfortunately, we as Catholics have “let the clown acts run the circus” for too long know. Thankfully most protestants do not buy this garbage. It just amazes me how these people who claim to be Christain can bold face lie. And I refuse to believe they are being sincere. :tsktsk: Thank God for Uncle Karl and Catholic Answers 👍

The internet is like the printing press in the early days. Any printer’s devil could publish a theological polemic, to the consternation of both Catholic and Protestant authorities . Luther was totally frustrated by works that could not be answered because they were totally innocent of scholarship.
