Actually it is my experience (at least here down under) that it is precisely the priests ordained in the 50’s that so wholeheartedly embraced the “reforms” and then passed them on to those ordained in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Fortunately they are like asses - without issue and the yopung men being ordained now are actually rejecting these remnants much to thir horror. I am reminded of an English teacher here who responded to the re-election of a conservative government by saying that teachers had failed because young people were not voting for the progressive forces.
