No doubt a producer can get into trouble signing contracts with difficult or impossible demands, but it need not be that way.know this, but they really rarely do it(on major Hollywood productions), because it entails a radically diffrent approach to the standard production procedure and when you are working with a schedule(say, a date on which the film must be ready to hit cinemas),it can be difficult for producers to work around the extra restrictions(including of the budgetary kind) which are placed on them by having young lead actors.
They are filming the second “Hunger Games” movie, “Catching Fire”, this summer, 2012, but the movie won’t hit the theatres until Nov 2013 !!!
When there is a potential of tripling or quadrupling your money in a year and a half, creditors can wait.
Count on it. There are people in Hollywood whose job is nothing but coordinating all parts of a film project so that everybody and everything is in place when needed, with a margin for error. If they are hired and listened to, there should be no problems. It’s not a government operation.
