What are the rules (if any) for saying Votive Offices of feasts on particular calendars only? I recently got a beautiful Proper Office of Our Lady, Help of Christians celebrated by the Salesians which I was thinking of using on Saturdays instead of the Saturday Memoria texts.

Perfectly legitimate according to the ordinary usage.

For the extraordinary usage, the rubrics do not make any mention of Votive Offices. However, as the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei reminded me once, those not obligated to the Office have a certain freedom in this regard.

I use the Auxilium Christianorum Office on 24 May, the proper feast.
