Did a search, nothing came up that was recent/relevant.
Does anyone know of any resources, whether it be a book or website or video, which specifically deals with deism? Has there been any major Christian (of any denomination) writer who has actually written anything specifically on deism from a specifically Christian perspective?
For the purposes of this thread, I will define deism as the following:
‘‘Deism is the belief that there exists a higher power, called God, but whose role within the universe consists solely of its creation and nothing else. This God does not require worship, answer prayer, punish or forgive sin.’’
(I add this definition simply because there is no one unified strand of deism and this principle above is the one of the unifying beliefs of all deists.
