well Catholics r not satanists or antichrists but here is a better site saying the TRUTH fillthevoid.org/RomanCatholicism/main.html
Hi Happy,

I pray you actually stick around long enough to learn what the Catholic Church actually teaches instead of the lies in the link you provided.

Just in the first paragraph there are so many falsehoods about the teachings of the Catholic Church.
  1. We have a personal relationship with the true Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In fact, converts from other Christian denominations all claim, myself included, to have a deep and personal relationship with Christ before we ever became Catholic and this relationship has only deepened once becoming Catholic. Before we became Catholic (and since) we read the Bible, went to bible studies.
Interestingly enough, most of those who leave the Catholic Church and frequently produce the lies like the site you linked to never had a relationship with Christ, never even opened up a bible, and just because they went to a Catholic school but put no effort into a relationship with Christ, they blame the Catholic Church instead of themselves. It probably is easier to believe those lies than to realize that you ignored Christ all those years as a pew warmer.
  1. The Catholic Church teaches that the only Way to heaven is through Christ. There is deeper theology involved with this one, but at it’s basic, the Catholic Church teaches and affirms the fact that the only way to heaven is through Christ.
  2. We do not worship Mary. Period.
  3. Only God forgives sin. And we confess as Christ instituted it directly after His resurrection :bible1: John 20:21-23. (Notice Jesus says go and forgive, not go and teach forgiveness.)
And this is all from the first paragraph.

I encourage you stick around this site and learn what the Catholic Church actually teaches instead of the lies from the site you linked to.

God bless,
Maria

Wow… that first paragraph really sounds like that one guy whom I was arguing with…

When will people just get the plain fact that we DO NOT worship Mary?! How many more times do I have to explain it to those ignorant people?! (Ignorant means that you just don’t know…not that you ignore things…)

I just noticed that one of the links in that site claims that the CCC contradicts the Bible (They used the KJV there yet again to prove their point)

Their site is wrong in saying that only the KJV is accurate. There is nothing actually “wrong” with the KJV, but it is not the most accurate translation anymore. Since it was written, older original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic manuscripts have been discovered. The original Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek, not English. Also, the text used to translate the KJV was written by a Catholic, Erasmus. Other English translations, such as the RSV, NRSV, NAB, and NASB are more accurate than the KJV, because they use an older Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek text to translate into English.

Correct. 👍

It is even said that Erasmus, when preparing for his Textus Receptus, found out that the Greek Manuscripts he is using as his source lacks Revelation. So, he took the Vulgate Revelation and retranslated it back to Greek.

His Textus Receptus also contained lots of typos, and was rather hastily and badly edited. There are also times where Erasmus could not distinguish between The Scriptural text and commentary. His TR also had readings which are not correct Greek, something which was preserved through the various editions of the TR. (an example is from Rev. 17:4: the word AKAQARTHTOS).

Information on the TR can be found in this site:
skypoint.com/~waltzmn/TR.html

I guess what would happen if we said to KJV-Onlyists that the TR was influenced by the Vulgate (Erasmus based his readings on it). Would they think the TR (being touted by some of these people as THE correct Greek New Testament; Those Alexandrian family manuscripts which many present Bible Translators use now they reject) was ‘defiled’ by the ‘corruptedness’ of the Vulgate? (Assuming they do believe that thing)

Joshua 24:15
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."

I have met to many Roman Catholics who are on The Lords side to except this rubbish.
