My mind is bogging me after confession.

I confessed today and after I mention all my sins, the priest gave me advices.
When he was counseling about masturbation, I said “It didn’t happen many times. It was in 2017”. I uttered it mindlessly.

what I meant, was that “it didn’t happen many times, happened more in 2017, but in 2017 it didn’t happen many times too”.
I didn’t want to mean it happened ONLY in 2017.

was the confession invalid?

I wouldn’t worry about having made a good confession. Nothing you said was false, and if the priest wanted more specific time frames and details, he would have asked.

He didn’t ask for the time information, but when I said something, I expressed myself bad.
time frames do not matter as much as saying what sin you commited?

Your intention was not to be deceptive. Relax.

Your threads indicate a lot of anxiety, particularly around confession and sexual issues. I think maybe you should discuss that stuff with someone outside the forums.

Take a breath. Calm down. You were not intentionally trying to confuse the issue. All is good.

You fumbled, you did not intentionally withhold any sins. That does not invalidate the Sacrament.

You shouldn’t be so nervous or anxious. Almost tells me there are more deep-seated issues here.

What deep seated issues? The issue is that I do not what to go to Hell.
