Hi everyone,
I am taking a trip to visit a friend halfway across the country, and I have severe anxiety about traveling. I am not anxious about flying. It is about everything before and after the flight. I am anxious I will be late for my flight, that I will go to the wrong gate or something, that my bags will get lost, or somehow that I will lose my medications, etc. So if there is anything that might go wrong, I am worrying about it. I am trying to trust God, but when I am not worrying about something, I feel like it is being presumptuous and not actually trusting God. Please pray for me, that I will be able to handle these anxieties and that the trip will go well. My friend hasn’t had anyone visit him since he moved away from our hometown.
Thank you for any prayers to help me get through the anxiety and have a good trip to visit my friend.
God bless you all. Amen.

May your Guardian Angel, who is with you at all times, kindly watch over, guide, and protect you as you do this kind brave thing for an isolated friend.

God, in Jesus’ Name please send your Holy Spirit to this person to calm their travel anxieties and help everything go smoothly on the journey. Also help him to handle any situation that might arise. Thank you in advance. Amen.

Our Lady of Loreto, please wrap your protective mantel around all nervous travelers and calm them.
St. Joseph, St. Mary Euphrasia, St. Mother Cabrini, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Padre Pio and all the Apostles please intercede for this intention. Thank you. Amen.

Father we entrust this trip to You. We pray that it will be a smooth trip free from hiccups. We pray for peace of mind for your child who will not be travelling alone because You will always be there.

May God’s protection and the peace of Christ be with you and may you bring that peace woth you as you visit your friend.

God bless!

Prayed for your intention in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

In the New Testament, Jesus asked: “can any of you live a bit longer by worrying?”

Matthew 6:34

“So do not worry about tomorrow; it will have enough worries of its own. There is no need to add to the troubles each day brings.”

What a sensible advice coming from our Redeemer. This is a part of the Bible passage which I read every night and it works like magic in keeping my worries at bay.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,

Mother of Tranquility

and Mother of Hope,

look upon Writer_for_God in this time

of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart

to know that God’s Love

for her is unchanging and

unchangeable, and, that

true human love can only

begin and grow by touching

His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -

which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this

same Peace into the lives

of others.

Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
Amen.

I’m praying for you. May the Lord cause your anxiety to dissipate.

Father please soothe this person and allow them to enjoy their travels and place all of their trust in you. May they walk strong in Christ and spread the good news of your word. In your name, Jesus amen!

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on Writer_for_God. Lord, hear my prayer for her intentions and have mercy on the whole world. (x10)

I did pray a decade of my daily Divine Mercy Chaplet for your intention.

May the Lord soothe your soul…
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Amen!

Thank you all for the prayers. My anxiety about the trip has lessened greatly. Many of the things that were making me anxious I have resolved or figured out. Thank you again. God bless you.
