Any books on apologetics?

I have been to the bible christian society and have downloaded and listened to the lectures, which are great.
Besides the bible, are there any books that are in the nature of these tapes which would help educate me in defending our faith?

There is one from Catholic Answers (plug! ) called The Essential Catholic Survival Guide (it’s about 530+ pages) - that should do you well to get started.

Actually, I have a copy on my desk right next to me.
