and or what do you think about people who are catholic that do watch this channel ? ever…once or every now and then, or all the time ?

thank u!

Personally I find nothing appealing to me in the message of TBN programming, mostly gospel of prosperity and left behind mentality. Why listen to that stuff when we have EWTN or any good Catholic radio or spiritual reading would be a better alternative. I like to know what I am putting into my mind doesn`t deviate from Church teaching. Actually I can say for TBN they really have had a couple good biblical movies, such as a movie about King David and another one about Peter and Paul and I think they ran the Shoes of The Fisherman before too; other than that I have no reason to watch that station,.

In my area TBN is channel 55 and EWTN is channel 59 with MSNBC and a black station in between… so usually I flip past TBN on my way to EWTN, but sometimes I stop for a few minutes to see what TBN is allowing now… Benny Hinn, Jack VanImp, 700 Club… and any weird evangelist that will bring in money for them. Oh at night they often have cartoons or movies I find amusing and watch to see how many theological errors I can find… then I remind myself that these are often not even biblical and I laugh because I see the irony coming from bible only folks…

One thing I do enjoy is the Christian Artist concerts though, as long as there isn’t alot of preaching…

I will occasionally watch a movie on TBN. I think watching could lead to theological confusion for a Catholic who is not very well grounded in their faith.

They’ve shown the movie “Daniel” on there, too, and it is pretty good.

I never saw the Daniel movie, will have to watch for that one. I know what the other posters meant about most of their movies though regardinfg possible confusion for some regarding theology.

Frankly…no, I do not. I see no reason to. When they have “Catholic” programming on there, that may change… But I won’t hold my breath waiting…😃

believe it or not they do have catholic church on theyre once in a while

well maybe thats the INSP channel im thinking of actually

Yes, I’ll watch it once in a while. Its entertaining. Or should I say its entertainment. I love all the guys fancy suites and the way the woman on that channel do there make up. It makes me want to give them all of my money. And besides, I think Pat Robertson is right. We should start assasinating foreign leaders again. “That darn Chavez and Armedinaja - oh what ever his name is. Lets get em”

Sorry everyone. Sarcasm is a defect of mine.

Seriously though if I’m not in the mood for a really deep theological insight, I love watching Jesse DuPantes. He’s a laugh a minute. He and I share a similar life story.
