I was thinking recently about the way people in all religions (including Catholics) have begun crowd-sourcing spiritual advice on the Internet, in a way that has not been done before.
It occurred to me that the one place where it had been done previously was the Congregationalist church, which has no formal authority structure (as far as I know).
I just wondered how that works? Does it still provide an effective means of seeking spiritual nourishment within your Christian community? How are disputes and dissent resolved (if at all)? Does it help your community to respond to the challenges of living a Christian life in a changing world?
