Carrie Underwood truly deserved it:thumbsup: that girl can sing. This pay your dues thing has got to go. I am usually tired of the same ones winning year after year just because of their name. Jesus take the Wheel is one of my favorites. Also, I do like Sara Edwards, even though she going through a lot of problems now, I do like listening to her.

According to the time that this link is being posted, Carrie Underwood spends her second week at #1 with Before He Cheats.

Believe by Brooks and Dunn is an awesome song! It’s not a peppy “car listener” but definitely makes you step back and take a moment. I’m glad it won an award.

As for Garth’s song, it’s ok and not worthy to have hit #1 on it’s first week of the chart. Currently after 6 weeks, the song is just hovering around #8. Big hype over nothing.

My brother got Reba’s CD and I was surprised. It’s sounded more coutnry than I thought. Even the Carole King duet was pretty good. So-so with the one with Justin Timberlake.

I had been to a concert last month with Montgomery Gentry as headliners. Great set except for the rain. I also saw at this concert: Little Texas, Jason Michael Carroll (best of the newcommers), Bucky Covington, Lee Brice, and Cole Deggs & the Lonesome

I do love country music. My sister told me that once she was in the car with her grand son and he said " Nana have you noticed that country music talks alot about God?" I thought that was great… and true.

I love Garth Brooks new song. I need to get Reba’s new cd, my mom and I are arguing who gets it first lol. Anyway I love Watching Airplanes, much better than Gary Allan other songs, not nearly as depressing as the first few that came out after his wife’s suicide (though a little sad).

I love it although I keep singing cowboys instead of cowgirls. I don’t do it on purpose it is just a habit.
