For sure. I was a huge fan in the 90’s. I still listen to her from time to time.

I’ve only heard one of her songs (who can say where the road goes), but I love it.

Absolutely LOVE Enya! I have all her cds. I still listen to the cds from time to time.

My wife loves her. I don’t much get into that style of music, but she absolutely has a beautiful voice and knows how to use it. Very talented indeed, and I’m glad she’s made such a good living from her art. If she toured I’d be quite happy to see her perform.

Off topic - I’m going to see James Carter at a small venue this weekend, and am quite stoked about it.

I appreciate Enya very much,I have some cd’s and cassettes 🙂

One of my favorite singers. I’m glad other fans are here 🙂 Absolutely soothing voice that’s been really good for helping me relax in times past.

I have a bunch of her CDs. I need to dig them out and listen again. I also have an instrumental version of some of her songs that is quite beautiful and inspiring.

I rarely admit it but Enya (and the band her siblings belong to, Clannad) is one of my guilty pleasures. I think I read somewhere that she’s the wealthiest woman in Ireland. She may keep a low profile because of a history of fans stalking her and trying to get into her house.

I’m not a collect-all-her-CDs, listen-all-the-time fan, but I do like to listen to her stuff any time I run across it, and I don’t think that I’ve ever heard anything from her that I didn’t like. She has basically worked hard to create her own musical niche, and she fills that niche very well.

D

Actually I read in an interview that she never understood modern life period. Going to clubs, pubs, hanging around was never her thing.

Me. Definitely.
I think she just came out with something in the last couple of years?

Incidentally, lately I’ve been listening to electro-pop by a Welsh singer named Gwenno, who put out an album entirely in Cornish, and her ethereal vocals remind me a bit of Enya. So if you like Enya, try Gwenno.

I really like Enya. I’ll still listen to Watermark from time to time. According to my dad, Orinoco Flow was one of my favorite songs as a kid XD

I also really loved her work for the Lord of the Rings. There’s just something about her voice that is so soothing.

One of her songs is currently on a tv commercial. I do not know what they are selling because I just hear the song and tune out the rest. ☺️

We should give a wave in case she happens to be reading CAF 🙂 :wave:t2:
